Four years ago, I didn’t have any of these things. I was like you – overworked, underpaid, and disrespected.
I saw 50+ patients per day. I regularly logged unpaid OT (up to 4 HOURS per day) to finish charts.
And I had a supervisor laugh in my face when I dared to ask for a raise.

Why Telehealth?
Well… in 2020, a friend needed a second opinion on a recommended hysterectomy. I provided it via Facetime.
Then after (without me asking), she sent me $35 on Cash App.
With a note that said “telemed”.
From that point forward, I was determined to set up my own telemedicine practice, on the side… when I wasn’t working my day job.
The next two years came with plenty of ups and downs. Which included spending $25,000 on things that didn’t always work.
But the biggest moment came when my telehealth practice conflicted with my full-time job.
So I got a part-time job that would have worked better.
But at the last moment…
…they retracted the offer. Leaving me accidentally unemployed.
At that point, I was all-in on telehealth.
But my story doesn’t end there.
In 2022, I asked God to show me how to help more patients…
… because the lack of GOOD healthcare is killing our communities.
That year, Telehealthpreneur was born.
